Mark Webb Memorial Race (under F.R.A. Laws)
Saturday 19th September, 2026. Start 2.00pm at Thropton Village Show, Coquetdale.
£5 for members of Fell Runners Association & £7 for non members
(proceeds going to Northumberland Mountain Rescue).
The Route
Thropton Village Show Ground – across the River Coquet – Great Tosson – Chester Hope to High Point of Simonside and return.
Approximately 7 miles, 1200 feet climbing. A map will be available on the showground.
Please note that runners will need to pay at the gate to enter the show and will pay a registration fee also to enter the race. Registration will be in the caravan on the field. Runners need to carry full waterproofs/FRA mandatory kit at Race Organisers discretion

A “local” is defined as a person living in the area of the Rothbury telephone exchange. Organisers reserve the right to award additional prizes according to the entries received.
